He was a great-uncle of Steve’s who was killed in action in Korea on August 11, 1950. The family established a scholarship in his memory. Capt. Neville was awarded the Bronze Star, Silver Star, Distinguished Service Cross and Purple Heart for his actions.

The family would like to thank the angels of Hope Hospice and Kaiser Permanente who provided such tender care and support for Steve. We are so thankful for the many family members, church family, friends, former teammates, and former coaches for the phone calls, visits, and support during the waning days of his life.
